update !! review guide pre calc polynomials

Uh, oh!   I am seeing a lot of special schedules in the next week.  I don't think we are going to be able to do the last part of the unit before the test, so there will be no rational functions (2.6, 2.7) on this test.  I believe that would be #8 on the pre test.  We will instead do more modeling 2.8 and keep #7 on the pre test on the test.

Test next Tuesday.  There should be about 10 problems.  The good news is that you should have about 60 minutes to complete it.

The pre test is a great place to start.  With the exception of #6  and 8,  I think the rest will be on the test/.  Obviously, not the same problems but the same ideas

4  Solving a polynomial function (many different types) - including finding irrational and imaginary zeros

1-2    Simplifying a rational expression

1-2  Writing a polynomials function from info (it's zeros, end behavior and y-int).

1   evaluating a polynomial function with a complex number

There may be a modeling problem from 2.8; we still need to look at this so we'll see.

In addition to these problems, we have our spiral problems from the first unit:
these 2 will be on writing the equation to a line and intervals of increasing/ decreasing.

book starting on p.  170
