Wednesday 7/12

Today we did a lot more probability- multi event and combinations.  We also did more circle work including 10-7 p. 579 #3,7,11,13,17,18  and 10-6  p. 573   #4,5.7,9,13.
Quiz tomorrow on 10-4 and 10-5  and unit test on Friday - review guide is in the room.

Thursday 7/6

Mucho trigonometry today.   We finished notes on non right triangle trig and did the practice on page # 2-4, 9, 13-14, 19-21, 25, 27, 41, 47.
WE also worked on the computers and found measurements outside using a clinometer.

Monday 7/3

Big day on triangles:   we looked at proving a triangle is right, obtuse or acute using the pythagorean.  We also looked at the ratio's of special right triangles and learned to solve for missing parts of triangles using ratios.
work done in class:   p. 475 #3-4, 7-11, 13-17, 20;   p. 491 #1, 7-9, 12, 16, 19, 25;   p. 498  #2, 310, 14, 18-20, 23, 27, 30.

Quiz Wednesday on pythag and special right triangles..
