Bit of a tough test, but I already warned you about that several times already.

Here is the breakdown:

2 graphing problems
4 solving problems of rational equations
4 word problems that involve d = rt and their derivatives
1-2 word problems that involve direct or indirect (inverse) variation
1 complex fraction

alg i factoring review guide

In case you weren't sure, the test is on factoring.

Be sure you can factor a polynomial by:  GCF and diamond or Punnett square.

make sure all your expressions are FULLY factored.


**Be aware of the DOTS and know (a + b) (a-b)

I am sure there will be some problems involving area of rectangles

alg Ii P - finish the activity on determining your grade; should have to graphs with asymptotes and the questions that go with it.


alg II HP - per. 3  do the first 6 problems for solving rat. equations in packet,  per 6 do 2-6 in 8-5 section of book

Alg II P Rational Function Review Guide

The test is made and here are the 10 questions on the test:


3 solving equations problems  (8-5 in book)

2 graphing equations problems (8-4 in book)

4 d=rt problems  (look at all the ones we have done in class as well as the pre assessment!)

1 direct/ indirect variations problem  (8-1 in book)


There are even 2 extra credit problems too!

Although it may seem to be a short test, it will take a long time and should be pretty challenging.  Prepare and ask me to do specific problems before the test day comes up.
