Ok this is the final unit test (THERE IS STILL A FINAL!)
There will be 11 questions, though 1 will be from the conics unit
3 - simplifying log expressions (3.3)
1 - writing the inverse function of a function
2 - solving log equations (3.4)
1 - solving exponential equation (3.4)
1 - application of a log or exponential function
1 - finding asymptotes of a log or exponential graph
1 - finding domain and range of a log or exponential graph
1 - blast from the past - Completing the square and graphing a conic
Could be some extra credit as well.
Here are the problems in the book
p. 67 #28-30
p. 190 # 41, 43, 49, 81
p. 199 #45, 47, 49
p. 207 #41, 43, 71, 81, 91, 97,
p. 217 #23-31 odds, 77, 97, 101
p. 643 #23, 25
There is also a few times that CHANGE OF BASE will come into play; there are not any of those problems in our book but be ready for them anyway. something like:
log4 x = log3 7 solve for x.
