tuesday 8/30
alg II - Today we did some applications of parent functions and transformations on page 10 #50,53,54. Then we practiced about 15 problems on the whiteboards and started the hw, which is
p. 16 #11-16, 10.
alg I - Today we worked on the machine, one last time for fun. There was also a video from Youcubed about being a good mathematician. WE finished class with a group task on quadratic sequences. No hw.

Monday 8/29/16
alg II - Today we reviewed our work from last week- functions and transformations. We also went over answers to p. 9 from last week. If you were in class, you and partner applied those ideas to one of my former quizzes and gained a lot of knowledge. If you missed, you should ask to see that quiz. Period 1 was able to do more work from p. 9 while per. 2 did not. No hw but review your vocab from last week.
alg I - Today we went over SMPs 1, 2 and 7. We then looked at some of the functions we will see in algebra through activities that involved epidemics and tiling floors. if you missed, see Mr Russell or myself for the work.

thursday 8/25
alg II - due to getting our books, we were only able to continue the notes. Hope we finish tomorrow so we can finally get to some practice! Notes are on the board connected to a magnet in case you miss or lose them.
alg I = today we worked on SMP 1 and 2 while using linear functions. No hw but get your signature pages in if you haven't done so yet. We also got our books today so if you missed and did not get one at registration, do so before school someday soon.

alg II videos for unit 1
Hi class,
Here are some videos that could be helpful to clarify some of the main points of this unit. I would recommend watching these a few times. maybe the first 1 this week and the next week watch some of the ones on SOE.
Hope this helps supplement the class instruction.
