Ch 10 review alg II Parker test
Believe it or not...people actually requested the review guide for the Conics test on the 25th.
To the best of my knowledge, this will be on the test. About 8-10 problems.
· * Look at pg. 764 #9-13 for identifying conics (10-6)
· * Study eccentricity of ellipses and hyperbolas,
which would be challenge problems in
10-2 and 10-3.
10-2 and 10-3.
· * Be able to go from graph to equation and visa-versa.
* Do Domain and Range for any type of conic in interval notation.
You will be expected to know the standard equation of each type of conic, but I will give the formula for eccentricity.
I've changed my mind about the word problems. Let's have two! I am thinking something like the whale problem from 10-4 (hyperbolas). And the lizard problem from 10-6.

There are a lot of practice problems on pg S22
in the back of the book (skill practice).
