All classes:  I hope you enjoyed the game of logic games and Mensa puzzles.  I think we all deserved a break from the curriculum and a chance to get some extra credit points.  No hw for any classes.

Alg II - Next week we will do 6.4-6.6 as well as a quiz on Wednesday

Alg I - Next week we will do 5-1 and 5-2, and have a quiz in there as well.

pre calc -  Test on Thursday and sounds like there may be a fiesta on Friday.  Can't wait.

Please go to the online textbook and check out the parent letter.

If your child is in Alg I or Alg II, I can send you a parent letter via email that details what the current unit looks like (Sorry, Pre calc!).  It can give you information that you can discuss with your child and you can ascertain how well your child is digesting the material.  Showing an interest in what they are learning also helps to show the importance of math.

Alg II - nice job on the tests.  Early results look like the classes will average around 75%.  We can pass them back once everyone has tested.

Sat 10/5

Saw the game last night vs Hart and we played a great first half against a great opponent.

Alg Ii -  study and work on POU.  Test still on Tuesday.  Performance tasks looked very good.  The average over both classes was 80%.

Alg I  - hw packet due on Monday.  Test next Friday on unit 2.

pre calc -  look over work from unit 2.  there was a lot of ideas in this chapter and the test will be full of them this Thursday.

10/3 Thursday

Alg II -  work on your POU, look at problems from p.  379, study for your unit 2 test (5-5, 5-6, 5-8, 5-9).
If you want to keep practicing on your calculator, go to online textbook, ch 5-8 then hit "additional practice"  then"lab resources online" then " tech 5-8 lab example 3."  Good way to find quad equations quickly.

Alg I  - p.  39 in the explorations book

pre calc - test next thursday.  We start 2-7 tomorrow.

10/2 Wed

Happy Late Start!  Waves were OK for me, hope you get some good waves of your own!

Alg II H - I would suggest you stop talking so much and start listening more.  Hw is pg. 377 #2-6.  POU will be given out tomorrow.
